6 Basic Steps in Making a Placard Plastic-Type Sleeve by Patricia Strasser
If you have flimsy placards that you use frequently, chances are, they will not last for very long from damage. In fact, they're just as much of being prone to wear and tear if you're just keeping them hidden inside your shelves. The best way you can make them last a long time, is through having them inside laminated plastic sleeves, such as shop ticket holders. Closing the 4th section of the plastic sleeve isn't even needed, once they fit completely well inside. This article will guide you on the methods on how to make a plastic sleeve for your placard.
Put together Materials
The first thing that you'll perform in creating a plastic-type laminate for your placards is to get your resources ready. They're two sheets of laminating paper, garments iron, a set of scissors, a ruler, and a piece of large construction paper.
Determine Placard Size
Measure the width and length of the placard and add an inch on every side for the size of the laminating paper.
Assemble Placard and Laminating Papers
Set down one of the laminating papers over a clean and also flat working surface, and put the placard on top of it, and also at the center. Then, put the other piece of laminating paper over the placard. Be sure that the 2 pieces of laminating papers are correctly aligned with one another on every side.
